The Campaign for Florida Alpha Y ou are the only one who can place a value on your Florida Alpha membership—the lifelong friendships you made, the devel- opment of your values and principles, and the many ways SigEp enhanced your college years in Gainesville. Remember that each of us benefited from the courage, generosity, work and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and brotherhood 5 Fraternity Row provided during our years at UF. Now it is our turn to repay the Fra- ternity, ensuring that the same, wonderful experience is available to others and that Florida Alpha continues the legacy of excellence. Our investment in the future of Florida Alpha will ensure the success of our Chap- ter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater brotherhood. The undergraduate men have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many SigEp broth- ers over the years. Together with our active members, the Alumni Volunteer Corporation is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to add to the history of Florida Alpha while competing with other fraternities and housing options in Gainesville. Now we are seeking alumni to provide financial and volunteer support that will be crucial to lead this proj- ect. Each of us benefited from the generosity, work and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all en- joyed the home and brotherhood SigEp provided. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Florida Alpha. How appropriate that each of our names be entered into her halls. All sup- porters of the project giving $2,500 and above will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque. All donors contributing $1,000 or more to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. Names will appear by category, relative to the size of the gift and will be added to lifetime giving. Gifts in honor or in memory of broth- ers, as well as family and pledge class gifts, are welcomed. Because of the magnitude of Florida Alpha's need, we urge all brothers to consider major gifts to the campaign. To help donors make the largest gift pos- sible, pledges may be spread over a five-year period. Early lead gifts to the campaign are preferable to help reduce borrowing costs. Donors pledging $10,000 and above may be eligible for a tax deduction through the Florida Alpha Educational Foundation.
