4 The DELTA PSI SIG fully regain my health. When I first was elected to the board in early 2006, I had two objectives: to involve more alumni and to restore the physical plant to what it once was through alumni/active Work Parties. Together, we have achieved much more than I could have imagined, the most important of them being the character development of the many young men I have had the opportunity to know over the years, going back to 1999-2000 when my son, Pete '04, entered RPI and join Sigma Chi. No question, serving on the board has been a labor of love. To be sure, I will try to stay involved in some capacity. I leave having complete confidence in the brothers serving on the board, as well as those up for re-election. Please don't forget to return the proxy form on page 6 ahead of the annual meeting. Your returned proxy will instill confidence in your board and ensure our forward momentum—we can't do it without YOU! Congratulations on these profound achievements! Josh "Pickles" Nichols '06 married Tracy Brisson in Savannah, Ga., in March. Invitations to this beautiful wedding were sent to semi-recent alumni of Delta Psi. Congrats! Jeremy Surprise '07 is engaged to Rachelle Victoria. Their wedding is set for May 2015. Best Wishes! Max Schnur '09 writes, "Well, it finally happened! Larissa Helms and I were married on May 9 in Beverly, Mass. It was a really small ceremony—just us, with Amanda Pietraszewski as officiant and Jonathan Helms as photographer. It was awesome, and a bird pooped on me right after we said our vows!" Congratulations, Max and Amanda! Dan Zuber '10 married Kait Saba earlier this month. Congratulations to you both! Senior Ben Richardson '15 was elected to join the executive committee of Sigma Chi during the June 2014 Grand Council. Ben will serve as one of two undergraduate brothers with the fraternity's top-level management team until Grand Chapter 2015. Congratulations!
