RETAILOBSERVER.COM JULY 2014 58 NATIONWIDE EAST ROLLS OUT BUSINESS MANAGER PLUS Nationwide East, a division of Nationwide Buying Group has developed Business Manager Plus, a secure online tracking system that allows the group's members access to paid rebates, invoices and payments. Providing member retailers access to their group data and enabling them to manage their accounts in a timely fashion is a key benefit of Business Manager Plus. With Business Manager Plus, a member can log in to their group account 24/7 to view paid volume rebates, trailing credits, PrimeTime! Cash Back Now payments and incentives. A member can also sort his protected data by vendor, specific date or year, and then print his account detail for reporting purposes. A primary feature of Business Manager Plus permits Nationwide East members to track volume rebates. "The ability to immediately see paid rebates is a huge advantage for our members," said Dean Hanby, vice president of Nationwide East. "Our members will find Business Plus to be a valuable reporting tool to quickly retrieve data and confirm payments in real time." Another unique advantage of Business Manager Plus is that it allows members to update their vendor account numbers as they acquire new lines. Keeping account numbers current is a critical part of tracking rebates. Current Nationwide appliance, furniture, electronics and finance programs are immediately accessible on Business Manager Plus. A member can access program details as they reviews rebate payments. The Business Manager Plus system also gives members the ability to update their account data and contact their Territory Manager. NATIONWIDE MARKETING GROUP SELECTS PROMOBOXX FOR DIGITAL DEALER MARKETING Nationwide Marketing Group, one of the largest buying groups in North America, has announced a partnership with leading retail marketing platform, Promoboxx, to provide digital marketing technology and dealer support to Nationwide's membership base. The partnership was formed as Nationwide searched for easy- to-use digital marketing tools for its 'Just Say Yes' campaign, in which one of the goals is to educate dealers on best practices for running online marketing campaigns. Frank Sandtner, senior VP of member services at Nationwide Marketing Group, stated, "Not only does Promoboxx already successfully support brands like Electrolux and General Electric and their independent retailer networks, but they also share our unique approach: help make your dealers better marketers and thus, better business people." The partnership kicked off earlier this month with large manufacturing brands supplying their dealers with ways to promote their co-branded online marketing materials related to the 'Just Say Yes' campaign. With over 3,700 members representing 10,000 storefronts, Nationwide Marketing Group will leverage Promoboxx's dealer marketing platform to allow dealers to easily activate the content, localize the message and promote it across marketing channels like Facebook, Twitter, website and email. "We're excited to be partnering with Nationwide Marketing Group in their efforts to help educate independent dealers on becoming better digital marketers. Promoboxx believes in doing what's best for retailers and this partnership complements our mission," stated Sonciary Honnoll, senior vice president of Client Services and co-founder of Promoboxx. The Nationwide / Promoboxx 'Just Say Yes' campaign will run throughout 2014. RO B U Y I N G G R O U P N E W S
