ALPHA CHAPTER OF THETA XI O ur investment in our shared Theta Xi experience will ensure that the Alpha Chapter remains a shrine for future generations. College fraternities continue to play a vital and relevant role in the development of young men, and the Alpha Chapter remains second to none. It is necessary that we provide our active brothers with an environment that offers them a solid foundation for their education and also affords them opportunities for the development of leadership, teamwork, and social skills. By doing so, we secure the future of our brotherhood. Our undergraduate brothers have already made a commitment to work hard to maintain the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many of our brothers over the past 150 years. Together with our undergraduates, the volunteer leadership of the Alpha Alumni Association is committed to this major undertaking that will allow us to restore our chapter house. In fact, it is a decade of reengagement and hard work by our leaders that has brought us to this historic agenda. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who established and those who have worked hard over the past 150 years to maintain our chapter. We all enjoyed and benefited from the home and brotherhood that Theta Xi provided during our informative years in the house. Now it is our turn to step up to the challenge of continuing this legacy by carrying the financial obligations associated with this project, ensuring that the same valuable experience we enjoyed is available for those brothers who follow us. Continuing the legacy of the Alpha home is now our most sacred duty. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your generous support Alpha will continue to provide an environment that develops and supports outstanding young men with the skills, maturation, and confidence to face an ever-changing world.
