Freshtomato, beefandbow tie pasta recipe for dinner Here is a pathetic an- gle to the hoof and mouth quarantine. A family from Tacoma was compelled to abandon a Spitz dog at the quarantine station near Cottonwood. They gave the dog to C. E. Fish, of Red Bluff, who in turn gave it to Bill Woodma- nsee, manager of the Red Bluff Sentinel. That was some weeks ago. The dog belonged to little Miss Bertha Ackerman, seven years old, and her heart was broken when she had to abandon her pet. Now comes a letter from the lit- tle girl to Mr. Fish inquir- ing about the dog. They miss Benny. Dear Mr. Fish — I re- ceived your letter and was sure very glad to hear that our dog is doing fine could you please and tell me where this party's address who has our dog now and her name is Benny please give us her address so that we can write to her. My lit- tle brother always calls her to come to her supper and she does not come and then he starts to cry. Well I will close now. We sure do all miss our dog.
