Let's Celebrate
Colorado Gamma at
a Grand Lake Event
W
e are excited to announce a CoGamma
SigEp event in Grand Lake, Colorado
for August 16th, 2014. We want this to be the
prelude to a two year period of celebrating the
Colorado Gamma Chapter's 100th anniversary.
The Grand Lake Event begins on the evening of
August 16th with a buffet dinner at the home of
Susan and Roger Brandt '62 from 4:30-7:30
p.m. We will feature wine from SigEp alumnus
Joseph Phelps '50 winery and beer from our
local Fort Collins New Belgium Brewery (Fat
Tire). We will also have a pictorial history of
the men (and ladies) who passed through the
doors at 121 East Lake Street in Fort Collins.
After the party we go to Rocky Mountain
Repertory Theatre in downtown Grand Lake to
watch a 'Broadway Quality Musical'. All this is
provided for only $60 per person!
The theatre tickets sell out quickly so we
purchased 60 tickets for the performance
in advance. We could not block rooms, but
you will find lodging recommendations at
www.CSUSigEp.org/GrandLake.
Tickets and lodging will go quickly, so act now
to be a part of this celebratory event.
Don't miss this opportunity to gather with
fellow Colorado Gamma SigEps and family
members in this pristine and stunning mountain
location. Don't let the drive to Grand Lake deter
you from joining us. It is only a two hour drive
from Denver or Loveland. What a perfect way
to spend a summer weekend!
You can secure your tickets by visiting the
csusigep.org website and select 'Grand Lake
Event' from the left hand menu box.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at
(303) 880-7892 or achornung@hotmail.com and
register today at www.CSUSigEp.org/GrandLake.
Fraternally,
Al Hornung '61
P.S. Connect with other CoGamma alumni
and invite them to join you and us at this
Grand Lake Event. Last year Carla and I went
three consecutive nights to three different
musical shows and each was spectacular.
If you haven't been to Rocky Mountain
Repertory Theatre, you are in for a real treat.
Visit www.rockymountainrep.com to learn
more. Many of us will be staying the weekend
so we'll also meet for an informal Sunday
brunch at the Grand Lake Lodge at 10 a.m.
Where Are They Now?
