The SigEp Seminole
SigEp's Outstanding Year
at Florida State
F
lorida Epsilon had an outstanding year. We won numerous awards
honoring our accomplishments in academics, campus leadership, and
membership. We also took home the coveted President's Cup Award for
IFC fraternity of the year at FSU. This is a huge honor for our chapter as
Pi Kappa Alpha has won this award the last several years.
IFC intramural standings were unveiled at the end of April and I'm proud
to announce that SigEp was named Gold League champions for 2014.
With the help of our basketball team winning their championship game,
Florida Epsilon proved we're a force to be reckoned with in intramurals.
A well-deserved win, everyone.
As of June 1, our charter petition was officially submitted and under
consideration by the national board of directors. I have every confidence
that they will approve our petition. As soon as I am aware of the decision,
we will let everyone know.
Thank you, brothers, for a great year. We lost some great members to
graduation, but look forward to gaining a new group of SigEps in the fall
during recruitment. Thank you all for your commitment to betterment of
our beloved Fraternity. I ask that everyone have a safe summer. If you're
traveling, I urge you to reach out and connect with brothers in that area.
Meeting SigEps from other universities is a great way to expand our
correspondence. To all of our new alumni, I wish you the best of luck
on your future endeavors. To all existing alumni, thank you for your
continued support. Our success is your success.
Fraternally,
Michael S. Berrios '16
