On Wednesday, June 4, TRAX pulled into the Rancho Tehama Coun- try Store for it first pilot run of a TRAX bus pro- gram for Rancho Tehama. Two eager riders boarded the bus for its first trip through RTR. After these June trial runs, issues related to insurance and rider fees need to be settled before approval of this project before the Board of Su- pervisors in August. To learn more, search for TRAX Makes Tracks To Rancho Tehama on Facebook. Tehama County staff led by Barbara O'Keeffe, the Transportation Com- mission, members of the Board of Supervisors and RTR residents coopera- tively worked together to make this program avail- able. As the priori- ties are developed for in- clusion into the Regional Transportation Plan, the public's input is valued.
