Community Service
• Held the fifth annual ATW StickFest in spring 2012,
raising $2,000 to support ACCESS, a local women's shelter;
500 members of the ISU and Greek community participated
• Participated in the Polar Bear Plunge, raising $8,000
to benefit the Special Olympics of Iowa
• Completed 2,200 hours of community service during
the 2010-11 school year
• Oversees the clean-up effort for a stretch of I-35 (north of
Ames) through the Adopt-a-Highway program
Campus Involvement
• Each active member is involved in at least one
campus organization.
• Paired with Gamma Phi Beta and won 2nd place overall in
Homecoming, including 1st place in the blood drive and 2nd
place in Yell-Like-Hell.
• During the 2012 Dance Marathon, 34 members participated in
the all-night dance event. This was the largest number and
highest percentage of participation by any fraternity. ATW also
raised the most money ($12,000) by any single group.
• Leaders on the Interfraternity Council, Homecoming Central,
Government of the Student Body, Greek Week Central and
Freshman Council
National Awards
• True Merit Award Winner in 2008 and 2009
• True Merit Award Honorable Mention in 2010
• Excellence award winners in communication, ritual, campus
involvement and leadership development, summer recruitment
and financial management in 2009 and 2010
• Excellence award winners in campus involvement, leadership
development, summer recruitment and financial management in
2012
• Upper Alpha Award for the Board of Trustees in 2012
Academics
• 2.75 cumulative chapter G.P.A. the last two semesters
with a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity;
