This is a great opportunity for Tehama County residents to safely dispose of accumulated un - wanted and unused prescription drugs anony- mously. Tehama County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported assault with a knife in the area of McLane and Oren avenues around 5 p.m., accord - ing to a department press release. A 15-year-old girl said she was attacked by an unknown Hispanic man who had approached her from an orchard to the south. The girl said she was cut with a knife on her left arm. The girl was transported to the hospital and treated for a 2-inch laceration on her left arm.
