Box 442510 Lawrence, KS 66044 Address Service Requested TRI DELTA CHAPTER ETERNAL Roxanne Speise Weaver '73, age 59, entered Chapter Eternal at Redondo Beach, Calif., in October after her battle with cancer. Survivors include her child, David Weaver, his wife, Diane, and their children, Juliette and Genevieve; her father and step-mother, Bill and Philippina Speise; her brother, Steve Speise, and his family, Janet, Matthew, and Brian; and her sister, Camille Green, and her family, Miranda and Brody. Roxanne was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille, and her father, York Wolf. ALUMNAE NEWS Jane Archibald Young '47, of Culver City, Calif., is enjoying retirement. She attends Sleighbell, an elegant Tri Delta fundraiser luncheon and fashion show, every year. Barbara Bastin Hutchins '58 has passed on the charge of their farming operation to their son, Dan. She and her husband, Melvin, have been off the farm, living in Scott City, Kan., since 2004. After retirement, their main traveling consists of supporting their seven grandchildren by attending their many sports and music activities. She is active in the First United Methodist Church, co-teaching the Upper Room class to third through fifth graders. Most of her time at home is spent gardening, participating in a Bible study, P.E.O., and exercising. Carol Rowe Park '60 enjoys retirement for part of the year in Georgetown, Texas. Her husband, Dick, passed away in February 2012. They traveled the world together and "had a life full of blessings." Carol spends her summers in Overland Park, Kan. E-mail: dickpark2@yahoo.com Pamela Stone Stroup '62 retired from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as dean of enrollment management. Pamela serves on the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board as a public member. She is also committed to a basket ministry, a book study group, and an organization promoting and supporting the humanities program at UL Lafayette. She and her husband of 48 years, Ray, live in Lafayette, La. Pamela also climbed Machu Picchu in 2013. She recently saw Ann Perry Parker '66, and she met with Linda Eileen Lungstrum '66 and Jan Kipp McElwain '66 while in Lawrence for a School of Education Advisory Board Meeting last April. Anne is president of the Komen-Houston Board of Directors. Barbara is in the master's program at Drake University studying to be an elementary school counselor.
