ho said civic-minded business ownership
was dead? Local HVAC company
Blanton's Heating & Air has been a fixture in
Fayetteville for six decades now, and they've been bringing
back the old-fashioned business commitment to the
community with their "Answer the Call" program.
They've been asking everyone in Fayetteville to help
them pick hardworking charities and organizations in the
neighborhood and then vote every month on their favorite.
There's even a $500 check for each month's lucky winner.
And you won't believe who's been nominated for April:
• Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch
• Special Olympics of Cumberland County
• The Jarred Bryan Sparks Foundation
Who would've thought it would be an HVAC company that
reminded us what a truly involved local business looks
like? Then again, I suppose we should have expected
such generosity from a company whose mascot looks so
unabashedly friendly.
