Outdoor leaks waste water, too! And, use a bucket when you wash your car.
Aim your sprinklers to water the lawn and gardens
(not the driveway). And be sure to follow PWC’s required Odd- Even schedule for watering
with sprinklers: Odd-numbered addresses water Tuesday,
Thursday, Sunday; “evens” water Monday, Wednesday, Saturday. But water only when you need to, not just because it’s your day.
That means turning off automatic sprinklers, too, especially if it’s
rainy. And don’t water when it’s windy or in the heat of the day (early morning’s best).
