Sigma Chi Manhattan Alumni Chapter c/o David Wichman, m.D. P.O. Box 774 manhattan, ks 66505 Address Service Requested Jack W. cain Jr. '50 entered Chapter Eternal on February 14, 2013. He was born in Kansas City, Mo., where his father taught him the flour milling business. He graduated from K-State with a degree in flour milling. Jack and his wife, Jane, were married in 1960 and headed to California to honeymoon. They loved it so much they decided to stay and make their home. Jack worked in sales for the Eutectic Company and for Marco. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in the garage and grew beautiful roses. Jack is survived by his wife; three children: Jim, Diane, and John; and two grandchildren, Kendall and Jack. clint H. davis '50 entered Chapter Eternal on September 28, 2013. Clint was born and raised in a rural farming community near Harveyville, Kan. After high school he volunteered and served for three years in the U.S. Navy and saw action in the Pacific Theater during World War II. At Kansas State he studied engineering and was a four-year letterman in baseball. Clint worked for General Telephone & Electric (now Verizon) and ended his career with GT&E after 30-plus years. After his retirement, he formed and ran his own communications company, Communications Contractors, Inc. He dissolved this company after 20 years of business and retired. Clint leaves behind his wife, Virginia, son, Randall, and twin granddaughters. Clint's favorite ways to relax were either with a fishing pole in hand or a gun slung over his shoulder. His most cherished times were enjoying these pursuits with his sons or granddaughters. Richard n. Wright '53 entered Chapter Eternal on August 16, 2013. He earned his degree in agronomy and spent his entire career of 37 years with Asgrow Seed Company. He is survived by his wife, Elma, and daughters, Amy and Sara. christopher cutro '72 entered Chapter Eternal on December 24, 2012. He was 63. Christopher was born in Bayonne, N.J., and was a 1967 graduate of Marist High School. He attained a B.S. degree in political science and during his senior year was the editor-in-chief of the university's official yearbook, The Royal Purple. After college he worked successively for Hudson County (New Jersey) and the Town of Westfield, N.J., as a community planner. He completed a master's degree in urban and regional planning from Hunter College. He accepted an urban planning position at the City of Hollywood, Fla., and rose to the position of principal planner in the city's planning and zoning division. Christopher eventually launched his own urban planning business, Cutro and Associates. He was a long-time member of the American Planning Association, serving terms as national chairman of the Private Practice Division Executive Committee and chairman of the Broward County Section of APA's Florida chapter. He was an AICP certified planner. Over his last 10 years he turned a cooking hobby into a sideline career as a professional chef. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and road trips "out west."
