Tau ChapTer of TheTa Chi fraTerniTy aT The universiTy of florida Tau TopiCs Spring 2014 B rothers, the Tau Chapter Realty Board deeply appreciates your support over the past several years. We have accomplished incredible things together, most notably the construction of a new Chapter House, which opened in August 2013. As we transition out of the capital phase of our growth, we must all turn our attention to the operational success of Tau Chapter. We proved our ability to coalesce around a common goal since the momentous start of the capital campaign in 2008. We've spent the past seven years reconnecting, building inter-generational friendships, expanding our networks and living the motto of the helping hand. This year in particular, we are shifting our focus to using those alumni relationships and resources to aggressively achieve operational excellence. The facility we built is a tool to ensure the continuance of Tau Chapter, but the true essence of the brotherhood is the energy of our membership. I urge each of you to find a way to maintain or increase your involvement with Tau Chapter this year. Very plainly, our mission is to serve each other and our undergraduate brothers. We have numerous opportunities to assist with alumni relations, job networking, academic or career advising, financial stewardship and social activities. New committees such as the Chapter Advisory Board, Alumni Relations Committee, and the Foundation could use dedicated brothers as well. Please reach out to the members of the Realty Board and let us know how you'd like to help. We are grateful for your support and encouragement and look forward to serving you as we approach Tau's centennial.
