You are the only one who can place a value on being a Beta—the lifelong friendships you made, the development of your values and
principles, and the many ways Gamma Phi enhanced your college years. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give back to Beta in
an important way, as the last large project was back in 1928. Your participation is absolutely vital to the success of our fraternity at the
University of Oklahoma.
Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of the Gamma Phi Chapter and now is the time to ensure we continue
building on that tradition of excellence. A significant commitment to this major undertaking must be shared by all of the alumni of Gamma
Phi. Because of the magnitude of Gamma Phi's need, and the resulting project cost, we urge all brothers to consider major gifts to the
campaign. To help donors make the largest gift possible, pledges may be spread over a five-year period. Early payments of pledges to the
campaign are preferred to reduce borrowing costs, but we ask that alumni stretch their gift amount as much as possible. Pledges of $50,000
or more may be eligible for a tax deduction through the Beta Theta Pi Foundation. Gifts of securities are encouraged, as there are often
significant tax advantages to the donor. Please consult your tax advisor for professional advice.
