Her four children: David, Carol, Arthur, and Mary, all came to Indianapolis, Ind., to celebrate. "Life is great!" Rosalyn Haughton Martty '55 lives in the New Orleans area after moving from McLean, Va., and Washington, D.C., where she was the editor of Go Magazine. She and her husband moved to New Orleans in August 2005, when Katrina hit, but luckily did not suffer much damage. "We love New Orleans—all of the fabulous restaurants and so many things to do!" "She was instrumental in helping the women's tennis team achieve a high ranking of sixth in the nation. Alexa became the winningest player in Alabama history, and she graduated with honors as the first player in Alabama history to earn all-American status in singles and doubles in the same year." She worked as the head of the reference and research department and as the coordinator of exhibits and programs. Since retiring, Carole has traveled extensively, including Saudi Arabia, Paris, Italy, Croatia, and Greece. Carole is active in Rotary Club, University Club, Sanford Historical Society, English Speaking Union, Jack Kerouac House, and LW voters. She lives in Lake Mary, Fla.
