Glenda Kae Hines, Quartzsite Avonna Lee Vinje Avonna Lee Vinje, born April 26 1943, passed away on January 25, 2014. She was from Detroit Michigan. Married her husband Gail, in 1982, when they moved from Michigan to Las Vegas. Lived and worked in Las Vegas. In 2005, when her husband and her retired to Quartzsite. She is survived by husband, Gail, 2 sons Scott, from Pryer Lake Minnesota, Keith, Las Vegas Ne- vada, a daughter, Talana from Phoenix Arizona and a step son Eric Vinje, Las Vegas Nevada. Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She will always be in the hearts of those who loved and knew her. We love you Vonnie. In Memoriam Susan (Suzanne) Trappe Black It is with great sadness that the family of the late Suzanne Black of Quartzsite, AZ, announce her passing on Monday February 10, 2014 at the Lake Havasu Hospital, AZ, at the age of 71 years. Leaving with fond and loving memories are her sister Judith May, Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada; brother Theodore Black (Charlene Trappe-Black) , Heyworth, IL; nephews Andrew May (Nicole May), Corner Brook, Newfound- land; and Brian May (Abbigail May), Salmon Arm, BC; and niece Ginny Black (Felicity Jackson), Vancouver, WA as well as her much-loved pets Pearl, Susie-Q and Lucky Paws. She is pre-deceased by her husband Gary Murphy, former husband Dean Dougherty, her parents Winston Ed- ward Black and Virginia Trappe Black (Price), nephew Charles Theodore Black and brother-in-law Barry May. Her departed canine companions are legion. Suzanne grew up in Urbana, Illinois, and graduated from University High School, Mt. Holyoke College/Univer- sity of Illinois and Starr King School for the Ministry. Her full and varied life included teaching high school French in the Chicago area, working at a school for developmentally dis- abled in Boulder Montana and serv- ing as a Universalist Unitarian minis- ter in Fayetteville, AR, Las Vegas, NV, Laguna Woods, CA and Little Falls, NY. Suzanne retired to Quartzsite, AZ. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Suzanne's memory to Starr King School for the Ministry, 2441 Le Conte Ave, Berkeley CA 94709, your area companion pet rescue/shelter, or to a charity of one's choice. A memorial gathering will be held at the Club House in Tyson RV Park, Quartzsite, AZ, on Friday Feb. 28 at 2:00 pm. Cremation has already taken place. Andy Kiss and Suzanne's friends have started a food drive for the Food Bank in her memory. Collection boxes are at Las Casas Apartments, Tyson RV Park, at Al's RV Park.
