Quartzsite Quilters would like to send out at HUGE THANK YOU to all the wonderful people that attended the Quartzsite Quilt show Feb 7 & 8, 2014. 562 people viewed the quilts, accessory items and vendors that were on display. Without you we could not have done it. The proceeds will be going to help local charities. In the Photo above: Janet Nieuwenhoff displays her hand- made quilt with Carol Kelly from the Food Bank. The Quartzsite Quilters used the beautiful quilt in a raffl e to raise money & collected food them. The group delivered donations & food in excess of $500 to the Food Bank last week. Drum roll please for the raffl e winners. The Dresden plate quilt was awarded to Mahri Thomas of San Dimas, California. The Spider web quilt that was made for the benefi t of the local food bank was won by Maureen Place of Amboy Washington. Next year's show will be Feb 6th and 7th 2015.
