Cookie Monster joined the kick off and handed out cookies to parents and students. This year the proceeds of the cookie dough fundraiser will go towards building a new, and much needed playground for the students.The playground equipment is going to be circuit based so it will enhance physical education programs as well as playtime. Ben Ziegler was awarded first prize for the creed recitation, and Eric Wellman was second. Michael DeFonte was award first place in the Extemporaneous portion of the contest.
