Those are headlines that grab us, pulling our emotions with our quest for information, reports depicting "positive" human relationships often get lost in the shuffle. Most days I realize that ignoring the news would be a little like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand so I continue to read the papers, hoping to come to a greater understanding of other human beings and their actions. I have been noticing lately that our own Red Bluff Daily News publishes a good number of positive articles concerning activities and people in the community. Run up a supporting flag for a positive endeavor in order to have a good balance opposite of all the occurring negative happenings in today's world. Perhaps we should cling to the message of our sand bottle, first be observant | and then become conscious of polishing our human relationships. In doing this we may create more and more positive occurrences in our community and in our world. "The turning points of lives are not the great moments.
