Aſter a state of the Fayetteville real estate market presentation by Dr. Lawrence Yun, chief economist at the National Association of Real- tors, we still see that our community is at the top in terms of the hous- ing market.
Fayetteville was also listed in the Milken Institute’s top 20 best per- forming cities in the nation. Fayetteville ranked third in the state in
2010, behind Durham and Raleigh. In 2008, Fayetteville ranked 6th in the state behind Asheville, Charlotte, Durham, Raleigh, and Wilm- ington.
“Tis type of recognition from outside sources is great for the city of Fayetteville and the entire County,” said Doug Peters, Chamber Presi- dent. “It’s time that people see Fayetteville as a major player in the economic development of the State.”
