Tuesday, January 25, 2011 – Daily News – 7A BULL & GELDING SALE CattleWomen dishing the beef Danielle Zane, newly installed president of the Tehama County CattleWomen, invites the public to the CattleWomen’s annual beef lunch at the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale, on Friday, January 28. The event starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m. at the Tehama District Fairground cafeteria. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tasty barbecue beef served over a bun will be the entree. The meal also includes mixed green salad, ranch beans, coffee, tea or milk and a large selection of homemade desserts. Joyce Bundy, lunch chairman, urges local folks to come to the lunch, sit down at a table and enjoy a hot meal while visiting with members of the ranching community. She is assisted by CattleWomen members who help prepare the meal, set tables, serve the lunch and bus the tables. The lunch is one of the Tehama County CattleWomen's ongoing beef promotion projects.
