It is because of this secret that they have been living life in fear, in shame and in doubt. The secret started small, a problem or an incident that they wish had never happened. Maybe it happened to them or maybe they created the problem. Maybe they got in over their head and were led down a bad road and the secret was the dead end. The secret has become such a part of their life now that they don't have any idea what to do. They feel they can't tell the secret, yet not telling it is killing them. I mean it. It is literally killing them. The knowing of something they wish they didn't. The living day to day with the anxiety, waiting to see if someone is going to find the secret out and in doing so, bring it to light. Each day brings most people a new promise of life.
