This year proceeds from the Ladies' Christmas Luncheon will go toward a new shelter and office location for Alternatives to Violence. Established in 1994, Alternatives to Violence is a local, nonprofit organization providing counseling and assistance to those in an abusive relationship or recovering from domestic violence in Tehama County. Luncheon activities include door prizes and an opportunity drawing for a Christmas wall hanging. A meal consisting of chicken salad, assorted green salads with fresh fruit, Christmas ice cream and Christmas cookies will be followed by an afternoon of bridge and socializing. Meal tickets are available for $10/each. For reservations contact Nancy Robison at 527-3602. All are welcome.
