SAE page 3 Alabama Alpha Mu Welcomes 37 New Members Chapter Hosts Alumni Events and Attends Leadership School T he Alabama Alpha Mu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Auburn University kicked off the semester with several alumni tailgates. It has been a great pleasure for the brothers to be able to get to know our alumni and their families. We have recently added a new deck to the property, which was put to great use for the 1987 pledge class reunion weekend. We have accepted 37 new members for pledging this semester. These young men have shown great respect for our brotherhood and are excited about the opportunity to be a part of it. Recruitment Chairman Thomas Thorneycroft '15 did a fantastic job putting together a group that will grow into not only great friends but also brothers. Pledge Trainers Tyler Baggerly '14 and Patrick McCleod '14 have put in the work to impart the ideals of the True Gentlemen we hold so dear. The future looks bright at SAE. We sent a group of eight brothers last winter to the Province Theta Leadership School, which was held in New Orleans on February 15 and 16 at Tulane University. They walked away with a deeper knowledge of what it truly means to be an SAE. It was very refreshing to be in the midst of so many brothers working together to make sure we can run our respective chapters the most efficient and respectful way possible. The brothers as a whole were grateful for the opportunity to attend this school. We look forward to future endeavors with each and every man who has been a part of this fraternity.
