t would be an understatement to say that
times have changed since many of us attended
college. Sending a child off to college can be
a time filled with anxiety and concern for the wellbeing of our students. Perhaps you can rest a little
easier knowing that Ole Miss is leading the way in
campus supervision concerning safety. CollegeSafe.
com recently ranked Ole Miss as the ninth safest
campus in the nation. The Daily Beast named Ole
Miss the safest in the SEC.
Chapter Hires Security Guard
Your Alpha Delta House Corporation and House
Director Vicki Taylor have taken measures to stay
on top of safety in our home. Gone are the days
of keys and forgotten passcodes. Today's members
take advantage of a sophisticated fingerprint security
system to gain access into the Phi Mu house. In
addition, Vicki has arranged for a security guard
to provide security during the increased activity on
weekends. We also plan for extra visitors who stop
by our home on game weekends.
Alcohol Policy Strictly Enforced
Vicki and parents serve to greet guests with a
welcoming face while watching for violations to
our no-alcohol policy inside the house. A security
guard is present to prevent visitors from entering
our home with beverages. We have such a beautiful
home and we welcome parents and alumnae
to view our facility. The University maintains
strict rules for fire code safety and the chapter
conducts regular evacuation procedures to prepare
for an emergency. You can sleep just a little better
knowing that safety is a priority at Alpha Delta.
