TheLambda Letter Lambda Recognized at National Level (Continued from front page) The Chapter has an incredible semester planned with another highly successful recruiting process completed, a number of philanthropy opportunities planned, and a fall formal dance in Cincinnati scheduled. The Chapter is also participating in many activities on campus, including intramural teams for soccer, corn hole, and an all-Greek football league. We will celebrate Homecoming with the women of Zeta Tau Alpha. The football game will be against Minnesota on November 2. As always, we encourage alumni engagement and see Homecoming as a perfect opportunity to reconnect with our graduates. If you will be in Bloomington that weekend, please feel free to contact us and stop by the Chapter House. Lambda Chapter takes pride in our academic achievements. This year, the Chapter as a whole recorded a GPA of 3.12. We look forward to not only continuing this success, but also improving upon it. Our scholarship team has created a brother-to-brother tutoring program that will begin all the way at the pledgeship level. We believe this will help encourage each brother to perform at the highest level academically. We also look forward to another successful pledgeship program, which will be run by our magister, Steven Cremer '15. Steven has done a fantastic job planning and creating events throughout the pledge process to develop each young man individually, while also strengthening the bonds throughout the pledge class as a whole. We are extremely proud of our recent achievements, and we believe we are on the path to continue to grow this success. The next year has many positive things in store, and we highly encourage alumni to stay involved in the Chapter's activities. In hoc, Luke Harris '15 Consul (765) 618-8932 lukeharris11@gmail.com 2 I Outstanding Member Spotlight Ean Billman '14 decided to join Sigma Chi because I wanted to be more involved on campus and meet new people. So far, my undergraduate experience has allowed me to get heavily involved in many organizations around campus and create connections that will help propel my future. I am from Rushville, Indiana, and I am pursing a degree in sport marketing and management with a business minor. I serve as the undergraduate live-in advisor and the head steward. I have been the alumni relations chairman and magister in the past. Leadership is crucial within the Fraternity so that we are able to keep our long-standing legacy on the IU campus and continue to develop young men into the leaders of the future.
