N������� 17, 2010 ���.D�����M��������.��� In Memorium Lea J. Garner Lea J. Garner was born in Casper, Wyoming on August 5, 1957 to James M Phillips and Shirley (Matzke) Phillips. She went home to the Lord on Sep- tember 25, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was 53 years old. Her son Dustin, mother and sisters Lynn Farwell, Sheryl Sutton and her niece Stacie Liz- zarraga where by her side. She went to Southridge Elementary School, CY Jr. High, and NCHS. Lea married David L Garner and they have one son Dustin L Garner. They later divorced. In 1976 Lea and Dustin moved to Quartzsite, Az where they lived until Dustin graduated from Salome High School. Lea worked at the Stuffed Camel, Quartz- site Yacht Club and Herb’s Hardware. When they returned to Casper Lea worked at Ace Hardware and was employed with Bloedorn Lumber at the time of her death. She is survived by her mother Shirley, son Dustin and his wife Shawna and 2 grandchildren Emily and Brandon. sisters Lynn & Sheryl, many nieces, neph- ews, great nieces and nephews, Aunts Pat, Clara and families who all gave her support during her illness. Her father James, grandparents, Bus and Ruth Matzke, Aunt Jean, Uncle Jim proceeded her in death. A small memorial was held Wednesday September 29, 2010 at the North Casper Park with Pastor Craig Mellendorf of Faith Assembly Church officiating. Sharon Rose (Craft) Miner In Memorium Sharon Rose (Craft) Miner, 71, of Phoenix, died October 31, 2010 in the loving care of Hospice of the Valley, Gardiner Home in Phoenix. She was born Febru- ary 3, 1939 in Wabash, IN to Ned and Wanda Williams Craft. Sharon was retired from the Arizona Department of Liquor. She was the wife of former Quartzsite Town Manager John Edward Miner. They moved to Arizona in 1979. She is survived by her granddaughter Violet Grace Miner Sacks, 5, her daugh- ters Carla Miner Crowfoot (Dave Crowfoot) and Heather Miner Sacks (Dennis Sacks), and her brothers Denny (LuAnn) and Jerry (Kathy) Craft. Burial will be in Wabash, IN. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hos- pice of the Valley, 1510 E. There was a memorial service at the Wescott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, Arizona on November 9, 2010. A long time resident of JR’s RV Park, in Quartzsite, he was responsible for making most of the quad trails in and around the Quartzsite area. There will be a memorial run in his honor on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at 10 AM. Starting at JR’s and going East out of town to Gold Nugget Road, at junction take dirt road 1.4 mi. The road follows the wash, it will split sev- eral times then becomes one again, At fork go 1 mi. then turn right, up out of the wash .6 mi. to Mo’s Cabin or Cabin at the Belle of AZ. Mine.
