Collegiate Achievements, Awards, and Honors
Commitment to Service
• The fourth annual Shamrock Run
was held in spring 2013, raising $33,640.
• Every month the Zeta Chapter invites
local Girl Scout troops to the house to
participate in themed events with the
ladies of KD.
• KD pairs with Alpha Tau Omega each
year to host a prom for students at
Crossing Points.
• Each year every member gives at least
four hours of her time to serve in a classroom at the RISE Center. In addition,
the chapter makes a Christmas stocking
filled with goodies to deliver to the students during the holiday season.

• Kirkland Back received the Order of
Omega Most Outstanding Sophomore
Award.
• Holly Simpson was honored as a Distinguished Undergraduate Scholar and
received the A&S Dean's Award of Merit.
• Katie Jackson served as the treasurer for
Panhellenic Executive Board.
• Kristin O'Brien was named TCF
Outstanding Senior.
• Anna Price Olson received the Journalism
Academic Achievement Award for Juniors.
• Kirkland Back, Isabella Wesley, and Sarah
James were SGA members.
Zeta Chapter members are actively involved in
