"The new Kappa Delta house reflects the positive improvements being made academically and physically
on the University of Alabama campus. The design shows that we have great respect of our past traditions
while preparing for the future. My sister and I, as most alumnae, have wonderful memories of the present
house. I know those before us had wonderful memories of the house that stood before this one. Yet, we both
understand the need for an updated property that will suit the needs of the future members of Zeta Chapter."

Our Historic Location:
W
A New Home for Zeta Chapter
hen the University approached KD to move to one
of the new locations, the House Corporation voted
to remain at our historical location. Zeta Chapter
was the first sorority at UA and is proud to have been the first chapter
on First Circle. Our alumnae continue to unanimously support the
decision to remain at First Circle. This location has been our home and
we're excited to create new memories at the new KD house.
The Zeta Chapter alumnae and undergraduate leadership have
developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the KD
experience on the University of Alabama campus. Through careful
study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that rebuilding
the Chapter House is necessary, and the sorority must invest in our
home to meet the needs of today's students and remain competitive on
campus. Working with Barganier Davis Sims Architects Associated, the
KD House Corporation has developed a tactical approach to our future.
