Alpha Delta Pi 3 An Exciting Time to Be an Alpha Delta Pi Tau Welcomes 50 New Members through Formal Recruitment T he fall semester is off to a great start and it has been an exciting time for sisters at Tau Chapter. It has been filled with sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and philanthropy. Additionally, we are having a wonderful time introducing our new members to our sisterhood. New Sisters Excited We kicked off the fall semester will formal recruitment in August. We are excited to announce that we welcomed 50 new members home to Tau Chapter and that initiation is scheduled for later this semester. These new members love learning about their new sisterhood and spending time at the chapter house. "They are a fantastic group of women," New Member Coordinator Erin Griffiths '11 said. Chapter Committed to Raising GPA This semester, Tau participated in the Race for Ronald 5K on October 20. This is ADPi's annual philanthropy, with proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House. President Nicole Nunes '10 Executive Vice President Kathleen Gerber '11 Bartlesville, Okla. Last semester, our chapter GPA was a 3.15. The officers of Tau, as well as all undergraduate members, have remained committed to raising our GPA. And with a revised scholarship plan, we know that we've made many strides in order to help our members be successful in the classroom. We look forward to sharing our results with you next semester!
