Dick Bahme '40 Had Lasting Commitment to Alpha Beta and Sigma Chi (Continued from page 1) Italy. Upon returning from the war, he met his future wife, Anna, at UC Charter Day and the couple married later that year. The Cal Sig Sigma Chi House Corporation P.O. Box 2101 Danville, CA 94526 Address Service Requested Del Tacconi, Utah State '62, knew Dick for 10 years, and remembered the lasting commitment and love he had for the chapter. "He would call me every few weeks and always wanted to know how Alpha Beta was doing. I took him to all the alumni steak dinners and he really enjoyed interacting with the brothers. He was a true example of what it means to be a member of Sigma Chi and was a testament to the strength of the Alpha Beta brotherhood. Dick was one of the best Sigma Chis I have ever known." A recipient of the Order of the Constantine, Dick entered Chapter Eternal on August 30, preceded by his loving wife. He is survived by his two sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
