However, with the unprecedented growth at The University and recent construction projects on campus, our facility has become constrained and outdated. With more than 320 undergraduate members, we are committed to providing the best learning and living environment that we can for our members. After a thoughtful and careful assessment, it has been determined that rebuilding the chapter house is necessary, and we must invest in our home to meet the needs of today's students and remain competitive on campus. House Corporation has been working with Barganier Davis Sims Architects Associated in order to plan for a safe, comfortable and spacious house that best serves the needs of our membership. Our new home will provide larger dining, meeting, and study spaces. We will also have state of the art technology, enhanced outdoor spaces and an improved recruitment environment. We will remain at our historical location on First Circle where we will continue to build on our traditions while also preparing for our future. Katie Jackson '10, treasurer for the Panhellenic Executive Board, accepts the award for Most Outstanding Scholarship by Greek Affairs on behalf of Kappa Delta.
