Donations will be accepted again on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Local funding workshop LCFF is the new local control funding formula that replaces the previous K-12 finance system. A workshop is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Red Bluff Union High School Performing Arts Center to hear a presentation by the three districts — Red Bluff High, Red Bluff Elementary and Antelope Elementary. The presentation will also include a time for questions. This workshop is a joint effort between the three school districts: Information will include what is LCFF, what is your role and how does LCFF impact the budget? Group seeks active military The Military Family Support Group will be in front of Walmart on Sunday, Oct. 20 to collect names to add to the local monument and the deployed military care package mailing list. Donated items for care packages will also be collected. The group of Tehama County will be at Round Table Pizza located in Belle Mill Landing Shopping Center 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, to honor veterans and raise funds in support of active troops serving overseas. Round Table Pizza will donate a percentage of purchases and the group will be on hand selling bake goods. Proceeds will be used to send care packages to troops and to complete the local monument in honor of those who served in the military during the Gulf War Era beginning Aug. 2, 1990, to present.
