DG at the University of Iowa Celebrates Accomplishments
Tau Chapter Looks to Build Off a Strong Spring
H
ello, alumnae! It is my pleasure to share with
you the accomplishments of Tau Chapter for
the spring 2013 semester. We have a lot to brag
about and hope you are as proud as we are.
Chapter Excels in Sisterhood
and Academics
The Chapter began the spring semester with a
successful Mom's Weekend, celebrating with
a night of shopping at a local boutique, as well
as a Mary Kay pop-up shop hosted by Jayme
Albright '10. "It was a great event," said Jayme.
"Along with the annual silent auction and
brunch, all of our members and their moms had
a great time."
As always, Tau continues to excel in academics.
The Chapter achieved a cumulative GPA of
3.22 for the spring semester. We are celebrating
our third-place ranking in scholarship among
Panhellenic sororities at the University of Iowa.
DG's Anchor splash Makes
National Waves
Tau held another successful Anchor Splash
in the spring and it was one for the books.
The Chapter was lucky enough to share our
Anchor Splash activities with the executive
offices as they sent a cameraman to film for the
fraternity's national foundation video; it can

Tau's Anchor Splash, as well as a few
interviews of our members, is featured in
the national foundation video. Please share
our excitement of this honor and watch this
extremely touching clip online. We are truly a
blessed Chapter!
