INDIANA GAMMA CHAPTER OF SAE 5 INDIANA GAMMA HAS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THE FALL Chapter Ranked Second Among Fraternities in Spring Semester T he undergraduate members of Indiana Gamma could not be more excited to write the next chapter in our great history. Riding on the momentum of an accomplished spring semester, the brothers have proudly moved into the new Chapter house and are ready to assume our role as leaders in the Indiana University Greek community. Newly initiated Iota Class in front of the Chapter house. The spring of 2013 was the strongest academic semester in recent history for the Chapter, posting a 3.28 GPA, which ranked second among all fraternities. The academic success can be attributed to several years' worth of chapterwide dedication to scholastic excellence. The Chapter is proud of this achievement, but is already working toward taking over the top spot in the coming semesters. For the first time, Indiana Gamma hosted a "Dog Derby" homerun derby. Chapter members hosted a home run derby competition to benefit the local chapter of the Humane Society. The event was well received and expansion is in the works for next spring. This fall we will pair with Graham's Foundation, founded by Nick Hall '92. Graham's Foundation provides practical and emotional support to parents of premature babies. This past spring, Indiana University officials recognized the Indiana Gamma Chapter with an award for having the strongest brotherhood of any IFC fraternity. Living together under one roof will allow for the Chapter to continue to display and grow our well-reputed brotherly bonds. As an undergraduate lucky enough to have the opportunity to live in the new Chapter house, I find it hard to express my gratitude enough for all of the support that we have received. The time, energy, commitment, and money that so many supporters of this Chapter have exhibited are the embodiment of membership for life. Thank you for setting an example of what true brotherhood and fraternity zeal look like. The undergraduate Chapter eagerly awaits your visit in the coming months so that we may thank you in person for your unwavering support. Interest in SAE at Indiana University has never been higher.
