Xi Chapter Looks to a Fun Fall after a Successful Summer W Fall Recruitment and Events As we kick off our fall semester, Xi has a lot of exciting upcoming events. We are happy to announce that we welcomed 53 new members to Xi after fall formal recruitment. Additionally, we continued our support for the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation, as we held our annual Jayhawk Walk on September 14. We will also be having our weeklong philanthropy event, Ultra Violet Nights, at the end of October to support the Sigma Kappa Foundation. elcome back to another school year at Sigma Kappa Xi Chapter! We have had an amazing summer and are looking forward to all of our events coming up this fall. Xi Is a Three Star Chapter We started off our summer with the Sigma Kappa Regional Leadership Conference. Our members got to learn about different leadership techniques and how to improve our chapter. We also had some excitement when Xi Chapter was awarded as a Three Star chapter! This is the most prestigious collegiate award for a Sigma Kappa Chapter. It means we excelled and had high performance in the areas of membership, financial management, philanthropy, scholarship, public relations, ritual, recruitment, leadership, new member education, alumnae relations, and campus involvement. Exciting Phase-One Renovation The rest of the summer was focused around our chapter house renovation. The front of our house Executive officers and Chapter Advisor, Caren Brandenburg, Zeta Delta, Tennessee-Martin '82, at the regional leadership conference this summer. got a facelift, and we are ready to start phase two of the renovation next summer! I would like to thank everyone who has donated their time and money toward our renovation, and would like to encourage you to keep donating! None of this would be possible if it weren't for our amazing chapter members and supportive alumnae. Thank you, again, for your continued interest and support of Xi Chapter. You make the difference!
