4A Daily News – Friday, September 20, 2013 Education in Tehama County KEEP ON LEARNING Locals make Simpson Dean List REDDING — The following local students have been named to Simpson University's Dean's List for the spring semester: Amy Haley of Cottonwood, who is majoring in English. Sandra Kitchens of Cottonwood, who is majoring in Nursing. Laurie Page of Cottonwood, who is majoring in Undeclared - Nursing. Julie Spencer of Red Bluff, who is majoring in Psychology. Emily Stokes of Corning, who is majoring in Biology. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. Simpson University has an undergraduate enrollment of about 750 students and offers degrees in 26 academic majors.
