Simpson Dean List
REDDING — The following local students have been
named to Simpson University's Dean's List for the spring
semester:
Amy Haley of Cottonwood, who is majoring in English.
Sandra Kitchens of Cottonwood, who is majoring in Nursing.
Laurie Page of Cottonwood, who is majoring in Undeclared - Nursing.
Julie Spencer of Red Bluff, who is majoring in Psychology.
Emily Stokes of Corning, who is majoring in Biology.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have a
semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Simpson University has an undergraduate enrollment of
about 750 students and offers degrees in 26 academic majors.

The students and staff of Sacramento River Discovery Charter School, 1660 Monroe St.,
Red Bluff, would like to thank everyone that had a part in making its fundraising yard
sale a success.Thank you to community members, friends, family and students for their
donations, time, and for attending the yard sale.The school was able to take a big step
towards its goal of having every student's week-long, educational field trip completely
