Fifty years with
one organization is
an extraordinary
achievement. When I
think about Jan Bias and
her career at Redstone
Federal Credit Union, it is
not simply the length of
her service that stands out.
It is the lasting impact she has had on our
people, our culture, and our organization.
Jan has helped shape Redstone into
the organization it is today, and I am
especially proud to celebrate her 50-
year milestone during the same year we
celebrate Redstone's 75th anniversary. For
two-thirds of our history, Jan has played a
meaningful role in our growth and success.
I have known Jan for many years and have
seen firsthand her integrity, credibility,
and genuine concern for people. ose
qualities made her an exceptional leader
and earned her a place at the executive
table as Executive Vice President of People
and Culture.

Jan helped transform how Redstone
recruits, supports, and retains
employees. She championed
competitive benefits, helped
establish our self-funded health
insurance program, introduced an
on-site clinic and wellness program,
and led the development of a
comprehensive salary administration
plan. Her work has helped make
Redstone one of the premier
employers in our region.
Her influence extends well beyond
Human Resources. Jan initiated
important conversations about
workplace culture that helped
lay the foundation for Redstone
receiving international recognition
for its culture. Later, when Redstone
embarked on an important
expansion into Tennessee, Jan
answered the call. Her ability to
recruit exceptional talent, build
