Shonterra R., Madison
For Shonterra, graduation was almost
within reach when an unexpected financial
gap threatened her final semester. Just as
classes began, she learned she still owed
more than she could pay on her own.
Determined not to give up, Shonterra went
to Redstone. She applied for and received
a Stretch Loan that covered the balance
and kept her on track to graduate. e help
meant more than financial relief; it gave
her the chance to complete a goal she had
worked hard to achieve. She graduated
magna cum laude.
Now, she is focused on her next dream:
opening a child development center for
young children, especially those with
developmental disabilities. Shonterra's
journey is a reminder that Redstone helps
turn obstacles into opportunity.

of difference in my daily life. I'm still paying
on the loan, but it's beyond worth it!"
