Freshman Johnny Hicks is unbeaten in
his first nine career decisions at 8-0-1, and he
has started each of the last eight games after
Quentin Miller suffered a lower-body injury on
Jan. 24 vs. St. Cloud State. Hicks' eight-game
unbeaten streak to begin a collegiate career
is believed to be the longest such stretch by a
DU goaltender since the 2002-03 season.
