rough its Affinity Debit Card Program, Redstone has returned more than $1 million to schools and education- based nonprofit organizations across its footprint. Launched in 2017, the program provides schools, colleges, and educational nonprofits with their own branded debit cards. Each time a member uses their specialty debit card, Redstone donates cash back to the affiliated organization – creating an easy, ongoing way to support education. Any Redstone member can request an affinity debit card at their local branch. "Surpassing $1 million in contributions is a testament to what community can accomplish together," said LeJuan George, Business Development Manager. Free 2 Teach, one of the program's first partners, has used the funding to expand support for teachers across 113 public schools.
