This beautiful piece contains 60 diamonds inlayed in 14k gold, and was named after the Navajo Eye Dazzler Blanket that is part of the Davies' Family Collection. T HE START OF A NEW YEAR is always filled with possibility— a moment to pause, reflect, and look ahead with optimism. For the jewelry community, that sense of renewal feels especially meaningful as we enter show season, bringing creativity, connection, and inspiration back into full focus. Winter marks a return—to seeing one another in person, sharing new designs, and reconnecting aer a year of both challenges and growth. ese gatherings help set the tone for the year ahead as conversations flow, ideas spark, and we reflect on where we've been, where we're going, and begin shaping what's next—together. It's also a time to think about new business ventures and set intentions for the year ahead. I've found myself reflecting on how our industry continues to evolve in thoughtful, meaningful ways, and on the power of collaboration when creative worlds overlap … when shared values, crasmanship and a sense of place come together in a way that feels natural and inspired. Living in Sonoma, just over the hill from Napa, I'm oen reminded of how beautifully jewelry and sparkling wine mirror one another. Both are created with intention. Both celebrate milestones. And both are meant to be shared. It's why I've been so drawn to collaborations like the one between designer Jennifer Dawes and Schramsberg Vineyards, where fine jewelry and fine sparkling wine meet in a thoughtful and celebratory way. Jennifer's gold and diamond sparkling-wine swizzle stick, created to honor Schramsberg's 60th anniversary, is a small but meaningful reminder that even the simplest rituals can be elevated through design. As we raise a glass to the year ahead, my hope is that this inspires all of us to think creatively— about collaboration, community, and partnerships that feel authentic to who we are and where we come from. Here's to new ideas, meaningful connections, and a truly sparkling 2026. Cheers! Nicole Bromstad, Publisher, e Jewelry Book Nicole Bromstad P U B L I S H E R ' S L E T T E R
