FINDING PHI MU I joined this sisterhood because I was looking for a place where I could truly belong, and Alpha Delta quickly became that home. From the beginning, I was drawn to the women's authenticity, warmth, and the way they genuinely supported one another. I didn't just want to make friends—I wanted to be part of something meaningful, rooted in service, leadership, and sisterhood. That's exactly what I found. Our Chapter lived out its values every day. We celebrated one another's accomplishments, showed up for our community, and created a culture of encouragement and care. Wearing the Phi Mu letters was an honor and a daily reminder of the purpose and pride we shared. The memories that stand out the most aren't necessarily the big events, but the small moments: late-night talks in Room 5, getting ready together, spontaneous car dance parties, and all the laughter during recruitment. Those everyday experiences built deep connections and made our house feel like a true second home. Phi Mu also helped me grow. I gained confidence, developed leadership skills, and learned to step outside my comfort zone. More importantly, I learned how to lead with empathy, work collaboratively, and stay grounded in my values. The friendships and lessons I gained have stayed with me long after graduation. LIFE AS AN ALUMNA Since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I used to line up my stuffed animals and pretend I was in front of a classroom. That early passion only grew stronger over time. I earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and now teach third grade reading at Della Davidson Elementary in Oxford, Mississippi. I absolutely love where I work and the people I work with! I live in Oxford with my husband, Dalton. We've been happily married for almost five years, and we welcomed our son on July 19! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, working out at OrangeTheory Fitness, and planning weddings and events. I also serve as Alpha Delta's Chapter adviser, which has been one of the most meaningful roles I've taken on. Supporting these young women as they grow into confident leaders is a powerful way to give back to the Chapter that gave so much to me. CELEBRATING OUR CENTENNIAL It's been a true honor to serve as chair for Phi Mu Alpha Delta's 100th anniversary celebration. This milestone represents more than a century of sisterhood, service, and tradition. Whether you were initiated five years ago or 50, your presence at this event matters. It's more than a reunion—it's a homecoming. Reconnecting with sisters from across the decades and hearing their stories has been incredibly rewarding. It reminded me how strong and lasting our bond is. Phi Mu continues to be one of the most impactful parts of my life, and I'm so grateful for the values, friendships, and sense of purpose it gave me, then and now! Want to hear more about the centennial or just reconnect with Bailey? Send an email to bblincoln@oxfordsd.org. "Join us in celebrating 100 years of Alpha Delta!
