As her extraordinary 44-year career ends, Mary Grace Evans looks forward to mornings spent soaking up the sun, traveling, and cherishing time with her family and friends. Mary Grace, Senior Assistant Vice President of Community Relations at Redstone, retires at the end of 2025. She leaves a legacy of advocacy, leadership, and service. From her earliest days as a part- time teller, to decades spent shaping community outreach and business development, Mary Grace has served under four different Redstone presidents. She worked to create opportunities, foster relationships, and build bridges between Redstone and the communities it serves. Mar y Grace's name has become synonymous with community impact. She established the Community Involvement Committee to review the hundreds of sponsorship requests that come in each year and helped to develop Redstone's first Community Impact Grant, which targets areas of critical need. She has overseen millions of dollars in support of education, family ser vices, and programs that improve the quality of life in North A labama and Middle Tennessee. Over the past 18 years, she rose through the ranks of the Rotar y Club of Greater Huntsville, and in 2023 became Governor for District 6860. W hen President and CEO Joe Newberr y invited her to join the Rotar y Club, he saw her potential to lead in the broader community. "Mary Grace has embraced these opportunities with a servant's attitude and continues to do so," Newberry said. "She leads with her heart, and in doing so, inspires others to do the same." Mary Grace's heart for people has helped to guide the credit union's philosophy of 'People Helping People' in ways that will endure for generations to come. MARY GRACE EVANS TO RETIRE AFTER 44 YEARS Mary Grace and Liz Hurley. Mary Grace has led Redstone's support of the Liz Hurley Ribbon Run for 20 years.
