The The Tiger Sig Published by the Xi Xi ChaPter alumni assoCiation of sigma Chi fraternity COLUMBIA, MISSOURI FALL 2025 L ast fall, we celebrated a new beginning for Xi Xi as our chapter returned to the University of Missouri. This was only possible through the hard work and dedication of our undergraduate members, alumni volunteers, and our collaboration with the university and Sigma Chi Headquarters. Nearly a year later, our brotherhood is thriving with 60 members who are devoted to excellence and leadership in the chapter, academics, campus, and community. As we continue to reestablish Sigma Chi's presence as a leader on Mizzou's campus, we are focused on our present and future. Our mission is to equip the next generation of Xi Xi brothers for success in the modern world, and by doing so, ensure our legacy and tradition thrive. How do we achieve this? We've launched the Reigniting Our Tradition of Leadership capital campaign—honoring our rich heritage and writing the next chapters in our Xi Xi history. We are thrilled to build on our momentum over the last year with a fundraising goal to help us: • Restore our chapter house at 500 College Ave. into a space where young men can develop as leaders and create lasting bonds. Our home is at the root of our brotherhood, and we plan to improve it beginning with the Fall 2025 semester.. These include much needed repairs, maintenance, system upgrades, and paint and plaster to make it shine again. • Replenish Xi Xi's educational scholarship fund so we can continue to recruit quality men into our growing chapter and recognize members for their achievements and contributions to Xi Xi and beyond. • Pay down chapter bank debt to reduce the burden on annual expenses and create a reserve fund to ensure our financial stability. Our new Sigma Chi Chapter is modeled to be sustainable for the long run. Our lessons learned from the past challenges we have faced have helped us to create a strong foundation for our current and future success. This is a critical time in our history. Xi Xi's future success hinges on the support of committed brothers and alumni, support from the university, Sigma Chi International, the Mizzou Greek Alliance, and our professional property manager—all who are ready to work together to create a strong future for the chapter. With that, we need the investment and support of our alumni across generations to help our vision, our shared success, become a reality. Early commitments from 51 alumni have already raised over $800,000! This is an impressive start, but we need your assistance to reach or exceed the amount we need so we can achieve the goals outlined to the left. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing the project, the campaign, and ways you can help. This is a time to reflect on your Sigma Chi experience. Remember the impact this brotherhood has had on you, and imagine how this chapter can and will change the lives of young men and our future brothers.
