Honoring Our Past Heritage Nods in the New Chapter House T he new 324 house at Oklahoma State University features meaningful tributes to Pi Beta Phi's heritage houses once located at 324 Cleveland and 923 College Avenue. Thoughtful design elements were incorporated to ensure the legacy of those historic homes lives on in the modern space: Doors to the All-Purpose Room: Repurposed main doors from 324 Cleveland. Arrow Glass Side Lights: From the front entrance of 324 Cleveland and placed beside each laundry room. Brick Crisscross Pattern: The front walkway brickwork mimics the original pattern from 324's interior and exterior. Engraved Bricks: Every engraved brick from the past is now duplicated/recreated for the front patio. Pony Wall: A defining feature of the front patio, reminiscent of 324. Dormers: Inspired by the architecture of both 324 Cleveland and 923 College Avenue. Back Courtyard: Secure and welcoming, modeled after 324's layout. Arrow Sconces: Original sconces from the 324 dining room now reside in the first floor public restrooms. Arches: Both interior and exterior arches replicate details from 923 College Avenue. Greek Letters on the Chimney: In the Oklahoma Beta font. Large Chimney: Preserved as a design hallmark from 324. Pi Beta Phi Crest in Arched Window over Front Door: Honoring both 923 and 324. Exterior Color: Mirroring the white facade of 923. Protected East Side Tree: A legacy tree from 324 remains intact. Original Mailbox: The 324 mailbox remains in place. Front Porch Swing: An iconic feature from 324, now beautifully restored.
