PI DEUTERON CHAPTER OF PHI GAMMA DELTA • SPRING 2025 Inside: A Promising Young Brotherhood | Spring Scholarships | Legacy of Love | Built to Lead Pi Deuteron Brothers gather to recognize the fraternal impact of Dave Schreck, Kansas State '69 (center). A bout 30 Graduate Brothers of Pi Deuteron Chapter raised more than $8,500 as a donation to the Kansas State-Chi Deuteron Chapter Fund at Phi Gamma Delta Educational Foundation in honor of Dave Schreck, Kansas State '69 for his leadership and guidance of Section XXIX from 2021-25. Outgoing Chapter President Danny Stapp '25, incoming President Zach Fetrow '27, Purple Legionnaire Clark Conover, Iowa State '93, Graduate Trustee Bill McGowan '86, and BCA President Jim Bloom '80 presented the honorarium to Dave on April 22 during his Section Leader visit to 1540 Louisiana Street. Dave has played an integral role over the last four years in advising both the Undergraduate Brothers and Graduate Brothers as they have worked together to put Pi Deuteron in a position to successfully meet key objectives under the trusteeship with the Fraternity and to regain full recognition as a student organization with the University of Kansas. Chris Hupe, Kansas State '93, Purple Legionnaire of Chi Deuteron Chapter, thanked Pi Deuteron Graduate Brothers for their donation. Hupe announced the donation at Chi Deuteron's Norris Pig Dinner on April 26. "In introducing our keynote speaker, none other than Brother Schreck, I shared the proclamation for the honorarium," Hupe wrote in an email. "There were many conversations I had with Brothers after the dinner who expressed deep appreciation for Pi Deuteron and this very awesome gesture."
