KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA 5 Beverly Webster McMurria '45 ran a School of Modern Dance for 16 years and taught grades K-12 for 30 years. Beverly lives in Denver, CO, and played tennis until the age of 90; she still swims one mile five times a week and walks a mile a day. She lives in Tucson, AZ, where she loves meeting with fellow alumnae at monthly lunch gatherings and meeting new Kappas. Jan is still active in DKG, a society for woman educators. All are college graduates, and three are working in the family agricultural business. One of them married in October 2024. They live in Long Beach, CA, and Teri volunteers at the senior center in the fitness room. Email: teridamro@gmail.com Mary Anne McCue Stewart '64 lives in Tucson, AZ, and enjoys life to the fullest as a proud and joyful great-grandmother. Mary Anne spent 12 years as a school psychologist on three of the Mariana Islands, working with children from family-oriented cultures. Crisis intervention was one of her specialties. "I loved celebrating Founder's Day in October 2022 by returning to Arizona and attending a pledge class reunion in Tucson hosted by Dana Welsh Hagenah '72 and Pennie Harcus '72—and being honored with our 50-year pins." Lyn lives in Phoenix, AZ. Email: lyncarrell@gmail.com Cornelia "Tillie" Tiller '74 lives in Jackson, TN, and is a recent cancer survivor. She retired in October 2023 after about 35 years in Africa. "My only claim to fame is having milked cows on four continents. Still on my list are South America and Australia. Good thing there are no bovines in Antarctica." Joie lives in San Diego, CA, and travels extensively with her partner and many Kappa sisters. "I completed all 50 states and have three more continents; I'm about 75% done with national parks." Email: maryeneal@sbcglobal.net Adrian Hershman Dubow '82 co-wrote a book called Good Work, Grit & Gratitude: The Bittersweet Lessons of the Lemonade Generation. "It is a memoir, serving as a time capsule of the of the early days of COVID-19 and sharing stories of the 'good' that came out of one of the most challenging times in our lives." Adrian lives in Miami, FL, and is a coach and consultant for nonprofit organizations. Heather lives in Manhattan Beach, CA, and is an author, screenwriter, and Broadway librettist for "Legally Blonde." "Kappa was good training ground for that!" Email: watkinsizzy02@gmail.com Nancy Kinney '47 entered Chapter Eternal on January 19, 2025. Nancy was a U.S. Masters Swimmer and competed locally, nationally, and internationally. She was a national and world record champion, excelling in the backstroke and individual medley. She was inducted into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 for her all-around athleticism, especially for her diving! She also traveled the world, loved the beach, and enjoyed basking in the sun—but mostly, she loved summertime at her cabin in Iron Springs, AZ, the Buena Vista Lodge. Nancy was blessed with great friends, a heavenly family, and a healthy and ridiculously full life. Elizabeth "Tao" Sykes Real '49 of Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA, entered Chapter Eternal on February 25, 2025. Aldine Sinclair von Isser '51 entered Chapter Eternal on April 16, 2025. She was a resident of Tucson, AZ. A certified school psychologist and teacher at the University of Arizona, she eventually rose to the office of director: graduate studies in the education of children with emotional and behavioral problems. Always up for adventure, she earned her private, then commercial pilot's license, flying medicines and provisions in Baja, Mexico. She maintained an active membership in the Ninety-Nines International Women Pilots Association, and at the age of 81, as pilot in command, she qualified for the UFOs (United Flying Octogenarians). Of all her accomplishments, she counted her family as her supreme achievement. Kathleen Igoe O'Hara '65, of San Diego, CA, entered Chapter Eternal on April 25, 2024. Alumnae News CHAPTER ETERNAL
